Rafa Ellan was born in Montreal the 16th of may 1980. With a stong attraction to the world of the senses, he studied science, people, trails, theatre and dreams. Worked as a physiotherapist, on canvas and found the guitar to be his best friend as he is a self-thought musician. On his path he has impersonated characters and already has a few identities; known as Shark, Johann Strauss, Jean Valjean, Rafael and finally Rafa Ellan.

His musical genre is unique having blended learnings of electric and classical guitars onto folk/blues acoustic guitar.

The texts proposed in his song are not to be taken lightly but have definitely no strings attached. 2012.
